Lightheaded Lighting Product Warranty
Limited Warranty Statement which is subject to change, modification or discontinuation without notice.
Lightheaded warrants all metal products to be free from defect in manufacturing, under normal and proper storage, installation and specified operational use, for a period of five (5) years from date of shipment.
Under proper installation, use & maintenance the following warranties apply from date of shipment; five (5) years all LED modules, five (5) years on all magnetic transformers, four (4) years on LED Drivers, two (2) years on electronic transformers, one (1) year warranty on paint finishes, anodized finishes & sockets. Warranties of Auxiliary devices, drivers & transformers, are subject to operational conditions as set out by the device manufacturer.
Lightheaded LED products must be installed in a suitable environment where ambient temperatures do not exceed the maximum temperature as indicated on the product specification sheets. Ratings are as follows unless otherwise specified: rated for insulated ceilings to a maximum ambient temperature of 40°C (104°F) • Rated for non-insulated ceilings to a maximum ambient temperature of 45°C (113°F).
Warranty on all Lightheaded LED Luminaires extend to the L70 Lumen Depreciation rating for a period of 5 years. In the event of an L70 claim, a representative sample product from the site will need to be returned to the factory, at the claimant’s expense, for analysis and verification. This express limited warranty extends only to the original or first end user/purchaser at the original install location. This warranty shall not apply to products which have been altered, improperly used or repaired outside of the Lightheaded factory. This warranty is also not applicable to any LED fixture which has been subjected to abnormal stress and operating conditions including but not limited to things such as, experienced operation outside the electrical values indicated on the products certification label, excessive build-up of dust in or around the heat sink and/or static electricity. In addition, overvoltage and lightning devices must be in place. Should any defects be found, Lightheaded will, at its option, either repair or replace the defective part or make available a new replacement part that will provide equal or better performance. Lightheaded Lighting will not be responsible for installation or any other labor, transportation or other cost relating to the defect part unless written approval has been issued by an officer of the company.
All Lightheaded LED luminaires requiring the use of a remote Constant Current Driver, must be energized by a Lightheaded approved Constant Current Driver. Use of any other company’s driver, whether listed by UL or CSA classification or not, to energize a Lightheaded LED luminaire voids all warranties.
Due to continued LED advancements in efficacies and performance, including original part manufacturers discontinuation of outdated items, Lightheaded will make every effort to match original product specifications but cannot guarantee an exact match. The above express warranty states the full and complete obligation of Lightheaded Lighting Ltd. All implied warranties of Merchantability or Fitness for a particular purpose are limited to the duration to the term of the express warranty. Under no circumstances will Lightheaded Lighting accept liability for any consequential special or indirect damages whether arising out of contract, tort, or strict liability.
THE PARTIES HERETO HEREBY ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT THE LIMITED WARRANTIES AND THE LIMITATION OF LIABILITY PROVISIONS CONTAINED HEREIN HAVE BEEN EXPRESSLY AGREED TO IN CO CONSIDERATION OF THE PURCHASE PRICE AND OTHER PROVISIONS OF THIS AGREEMENT.
